Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records, including Hours of Service (HOS).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper techniques to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Regional).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are a plus but not required for all positions.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
