Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- One year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
