Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety compliance and vehicle integrity.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to all weight restrictions and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and partners regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the vehicle interior clean and organized, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
- Foster a culture of safety by identifying and reporting potential hazards on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) available for review.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
