Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations in and around Seattle, WA.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations.
- Foster a customer-service oriented approach, ensuring cargo is handled with care and delivered on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
