Responsibilities
- Operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck).
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) accurately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT safety policies, traffic laws, and company procedures.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while managing time and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no air brake restrictions.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT medical card) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and driving history (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Willingness to travel to delivery locations across Texas and Oklahoma.
