Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner across the East Coast.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads for safe transit.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred experience with Flatbed or Reefer).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
