Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and readiness of the equipment.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery and pickup locations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A License (State of Ohio or equivalent).
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Regional).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
