Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
