Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a variety of conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times while on the road and at customer sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and weight limits.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
