As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods across California and neighboring states. We offer competitive pay, weekly settlements, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring compliance with weight restrictions and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and road maps to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status and delays.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
