Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper securing techniques (straps, chains, tarps).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and shippers/receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR or Regional driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with ELDs and DOT compliance.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
