Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers over various road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and status updates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
