Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Secure cargo properly and adhere to all load securement regulations.
- Complete necessary delivery paperwork, logbooks, and inspection reports accurately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and strictly follow traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and operational safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
