Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations on schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professional conduct on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
