Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely on designated routes throughout Alaska
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Represent Alaska Freight Solutions professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Alaska driver's license or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program (4-6 weeks)
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- No DUI/DWI convictions within past 5 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
