Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service at each delivery and pickup location.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of California.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card) and DOT Physical.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
