Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on assigned regional routes
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision using manual equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate manual loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning start times
