Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within the St. Louis metropolitan area
- Load/unload freight with precision while maintaining proper handling procedures
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and daily activity reports
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual transmissions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning software
