Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within 250-mile radius of Nashville
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous pre/post-trip inspection records
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision and route optimization
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Collaborate with dispatch team to troubleshoot delivery challenges proactively
- Maintain clean driving record and complete all required safety training
- Assist in unloading cargo when necessary using proper equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee roadways and regional logistics hubs
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional weekend deliveries
