Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on designated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while meeting tight delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route issues in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
