Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within 500-mile radius of Dallas
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and on-time service
- Utilize GPS systems and route planning software for efficient navigation
- Document delivery receipts and handle freight documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight trips
