Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt routes to avoid traffic congestion and optimize delivery efficiency
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance
- Uphold strict safety protocols in all driving and handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Seattle metro area and Washington state highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
