Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to deliver freight to designated destinations in and around Scottsdale, AZ.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper vehicle maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and dispatchers.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional trucking environment.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime if necessary.
