Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed)
- Plan and execute efficient multi-stop delivery routes across Riverside County
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT/California Highway Patrol regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Use GPS routing systems to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain electronic records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems and delivery protocols
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification required
