Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within 100-mile radius of Pittsburgh
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams remotely via mobile app for route optimization
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Adhere to HOS regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Resolve delivery exceptions through remote communication with clients
- Submit digital paperwork and documentation from home base
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and ELD systems
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning software
- Reliable high-speed internet for remote administrative tasks
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Prior experience with hazmat tanker endorsement preferred
