Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team via remote communication tools for real-time updates
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required at client locations
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery verification
- Submit daily trip reports and delivery documentation through our mobile portal
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials handling (certification preferred)
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Texas road networks
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile apps
- Flexibility for overnight regional travel and remote work coordination
- Excellent time management and customer communication skills
