Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and delivery vehicles on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of goods.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving time and mileage in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a professional truck driver (preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
