Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) to transport goods across regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to meet tight deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations, HOS guidelines, and company policies
- Document delivery exceptions and resolve customer inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain through our paid training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and load verification
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for early morning starts, overnight trips, and weekend shifts
