Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) on assigned regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and adhere to all FMCSA safety regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A CDL required or ability to obtain through paid training)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
