Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial Class A vehicle on assigned routes throughout the St. Louis area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring all cargo is secured properly and delivered on time.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (DOT logs, BOLs, delivery receipts).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A License.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle issues on the road.
