Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes within the Austin metropolitan area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently at designated delivery points.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and road regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License: Must be obtained prior to driving solo.
- Driving Record: Clean MVR with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
