Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on regional routes within Louisiana and surrounding states
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all FMCSA safety regulations and company policies
- Complete delivery documentation and billing forms
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- No prior commercial driving experience required
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
