Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently on assigned regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (non-CDL acceptable initially)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL Class A through company-sponsored training
- Basic math skills for delivery verification
