Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and customer locations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and accurate logging of hours
- Provide exceptional customer service through on-time deliveries and professional communication
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Manage paperwork including delivery confirmations and route documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
