As a Route Driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics network, ensuring that goods are delivered safely and on time across South Florida. We offer a modern fleet, paid time off, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles following all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption in the electronic logging device (ELD).
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle any customer inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies regarding hours of service.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial truck driving.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills in urban and highway environments.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
