Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Wisconsin
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Madison WI metro area and regional routes
- Familiarity with freight handling and securement procedures
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems and documentation
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
