Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to deliver freight to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring the security and safety of the freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation in accordance with federal and state laws.
- Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally and resolving any delivery issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean MVR with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
