Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Kansas City metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route efficiency and on-time deliveries
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) endorsements preferred for specialized loads
- Represent Midwest Transport Solutions with professionalism in customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and reliability
