Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and other paperwork.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
