Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Ensure cargo is secure and protected during transit.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to businesses and residents.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A License.
- Clean driving record with no more than one preventable accident in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
