Your Day-to-Day:
As a Route Driver, you will ensure timely and safe delivery of cargo. You will interact with customers, handle freight, and maintain the cleanliness of your vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer interactions professionally and resolve delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
