Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Omaha metro area
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Adapt to variable schedules including early mornings and weekend shifts
- Uphold strict safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
- Maintain positive customer relationships during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Assist in freight loading/unloading as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including overnight and weekend shifts
