Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional delivery routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven experience in freight transportation/delivery
- Strong knowledge of Madison metro area and Wisconsin routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
