Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes across Texas and Southwest regions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance adherence
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Uphold strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations at all times
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and reliability
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (1-3 nights per week)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Endorsements: HazMat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred
