Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload packages and verify delivery accuracy with digital scanning
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records for reporting
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to depot (public transit access preferred)
