Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on scheduled routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques to prevent damage
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic logging systems accurately
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong route navigation skills with GPS proficiency
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Fresno-based or willing to relocate to service area
