Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and resolving any delivery issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and cargo handling.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills with a GPS-capable smartphone.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
