Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes across Southeast Michigan
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logging records
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes for efficiency while maintaining strict delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings/late nights
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
