Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and in pristine condition
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs using electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery exceptions
- Represent Pacific Northwest Logistics with exceptional customer service at all delivery points
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure cargo throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
