Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop delivery routes within Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Inspect vehicles before and after routes to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Manage inventory verification and secure cargo handling procedures
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metropolitan area geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical loading/unloading duties
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and fleet management software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills for dynamic route conditions
- Strong communication abilities for customer interactions and team coordination
